Snails!

Okay, I admit it, I've been busy. Too busy to lift the hood on the Cayenne since it went in for service back in May.

A week or so ago I had decided to dedicate a day this weekend to detailing the engine, wheels and wheel wells. I had expected the engine to be a little dusty, but I never expected this :shocked

Does the Cayenne like escargo or did these critters tuck in for the evening to stay warm? What a mess!

Where in the world do you live that snails are just walking around?

That's a strange one to us in the midwest.

I know what you mean. We have a ton of snails. After it rains or after watering we have dozens in our front yard. My dog just ignors them now. Maybe I should start selling them  . I haven't found any in my engine compartment yet.

:soscared: Nice! They drive my wife crazy eating her flowers. I highly recommend Corey's Slug and Snail Death. Put a protective circle of it around your Cayenne. It's like an invisable wall of death to the little slimy creatures.

No snails here, but I did have a bit of a shock finding these boys under the hood:

In the upper part of the engine bay near the windshield no less! Them's some determined worms...
