Slow shipping

Has anybody noticed a slowdown in shipping times? When I used to purchace my Xpel kits, they would be here in 3 days from Texas exactly. Now it's 4-5 days. Orders from PAC would get here in 3-4, now it's more like 5. I'm still waiting for an order placed last weekend! I ordered a steam cleaner on Wednesday, the email said 2 days out of Buffalo. I'm 25 miles away and it's still not here yet!! I'm trying to run a business so I NEED things on time. Is it just me and bad luck? I've heard some bad things about FedEx, but this is UPS and USPS which are slow.

I really havent had many problems with shipping. Do you think it may be from increased security at warehouses?

It could be with higher gas prices, the shippers cram as much as possible into the trucks. Thism might add a day or so on when the trucks would normally leave with a little less cargo. I really have no idea, but it sounds like a good guess to me.

I hope not because the heaver the vehicle the more "power" it takes to move it thus wasting more fuel than before.
