can i apply carnauba wax after i have applied a sealant to the car? and how often should i apply a sealant? im using 3D products.any recommendations?

Yes. You must let the sealant cure for 12 to 24 Hrs. Sealants durability depends on the product and the enviromental conditions. You could get three to six months protection from a sealant. How often you should apply a wax and sealant is strictly up to you. Most wax you will get a month or so out of its durability. Again it depends on the product and environmental conditions. After every wash I always do some kinda Quick detail whether that be by applying another coat of wax/sealant or using a wax/sealant booster. My car is black and I don't think it looks 100% until it has that just waxed look. Trial&Error and experimentation are the keys to finding what you want.
I by no means am an expert. Just knowledge I've come to acquire.

thanx guys! the last time i put the wax right over the sealant, so next time being this weekend i hope ill do it the right way!

If you do not wait for the sealant to cure you lose a little durability. If you are a normal DC member this will not really be a problem because you will be detailing your vehicle before the durability and protection run out.

I use 24 hrs as a base rule for cure times on sealants, before I apply another layer of sealant or apply a carnuaba.

I believe that it may reduce its longevity, if not given the proper cure time.

A point to remember is that once you apply a carnuaba over a sealant you can't go back and add another layer of sealant, so get all of your sealant layers on first.
