Show Car Wax Suggestions

My dad has two cars that are usually only driven to car shows. A red 1965 GTO conv. and a red 1993 Mustang Cobra. In the past I have used Clearkote's wax. It's reorder time, and wanted to get some options before I ordered more wax.

The cars are garaged all of the time.

For red you really can't go wrong with Pinnacle Souveran. It is outstanding on red. That is only if you intend to go the wax route. Wolfgang is also fantastic on Red and would last a lot longer. If I had a red car it would wear Wolfgang every day of the week.

If you are going to use wax then Pinnacle Souveran would be my choice.
It is expensive but very good for show cars

I'd use Pinnacle Souveran. Do you have a nice finishing polish to use before Souveran?

Not factory paint, but a single stage repaint...This car was polished with SSR2/Optimum Poliseal and waxed with Souveran.

My choice would be either CG 50/50 or TOL Trade Secret. They are my top two waxes for show cars.

i wouldn't even bother with a LSP ... these cars don't need protect just a good Glaze :notme: ...

oh my suggestion ..Black Hole :D

I have a Vibrant Red 1993 Mustang GT convertible, the same color as the '93 Cobra. I use Pinnacle Souveran paste with quick coats of Liquid Souveran Spray at shows. I think that makes this specific color look fantastic.
