Should I top UPP?

I just stripped my old combo and decided to try out UPP. Boy, is this stuff slick! I only have one coat on right now, but was wondering if I should top it with a carnauba (I have practically all of them to choose from) or should I just put on another coat of UPP and call it done? I have heard that UPP's durability isn't the greatest, so I thought a carnauba would at least help extend the life a little. On the other hand, I wonder if it would just be better to keep it 'nuba free and just put on a new coat of UPP every other week?

It's for my yellow Cobra by the way.

UPP feels so slick, I topped my two coats with a coat off Wolfgang as Rob did, and it added to the look. Going to try a coat of Signature on top of that later. So far the slickness everyone likes from UPP has remained with the Wolfgang.

That's what I do on the S8, I just add more UPP when I think it needs it. I didn't want to break the cycle by adding a carnauba, it's a much bigger job to clean it all off, reapply the UPP, etc. etc. Adding the UPP is quick and easy. And you could always use the UGE spray after most washes and just apply the UPP once a month or so.

OK, that sounds good. I'm going to put one more coat on today and be done with it. I'll give it a few weeks and if I don't like it I will throw a good carnauba on there.

How long should I expect the UPP to last?

Sorry, I can't really say as I only use it on the S8, which doesn't get used like most cars :o Depending on your shampoo, you'll probably want to refresh it over loss of slickness long before it really *needs* redone- that's what I think most people are doing.

I've discussed this with exact topic with White95Max about topping UPP with 16. He informed that he did and it decreased UPP's slickness a bit. So far I have one coat of UPP I plan on 1 or 2 more coats by itself. It looks great on my white 95 gt so far using the combo AIO/VM/UPP.

I got six months or more from one coat of AIO followed by one coat of UPP on the entire car and a 2nd coat of UPP on the horizontal surfaces.
