Should I get this package to start out with my pc??

Will you be doing an entire car?

The link I see is for the smaller spot pads. These are more for removing defects in a smaller area especially if you did not want to "do" the whole car. The smaller surface area will become "hottter" than if you were using the larger pads. The larger pads are more for swirl removal / polishing an entire car.

Best of luck.

A lot of people have been suggesting using the smaller 4" pads for some ares they aren't haveing too much luck with the larger ones with, like some sirlies, scratches, etc. The theory behind it makes sense, the smaller diameter focuses in one spot more, or something like that. But I would certainlys tart with larger pads first, take slong enough the way it is, couldn't imagine doing a whole car with 4"!

I'm with everyone else on this issue. If you only have one set of pads then it's better to get 6.5" pads or larger. It will take longer to do an entire car with 4" pads and they'll likely wear out faster.

Also, I own this kit and had a bit of an "incident" with it. If you do a search for "spot buffs" I'm sure you'll find the thread I started.
