Shop Vac All Around???

it was my first time...
Was just at Costco today and while waiting for my tires to be installed, I was browsing around and noticed they have a Shop Vac All Around wet/dry vac. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular vac??? My other vac is really old and has been giving me problems lately. I would like to get something good, but I'd like to keep the price down as much as possible. While I do detail for money here and there, i'm mainly into as a hobby, not a source of income. I just would like something to get the job done. This vac only costs $45 which seems to be the cheapest one i've seen. So anyone with experiences on this vac, i'd appreciate any feedback, reviews or comments on its performance.

Just read that other thread, it seems the Craftsman Wall Mount wet/dry vac seems to be very popular. Comparing the specs with the Shop Vac All Around from Costco, I really didn't see to much of a difference. The Shop Vac All Around has 4.5 hp, 3 gallon the Craftsman has 5 hp, 5 gallon. Anyone care to take a guess at why the Craftsman is more than the Shop Vac All Around, with almost identical specs??? I don't mind spending the extra $ as long as its justified.

I don't own one, but if I was looking for a wet vac, this one would be on my list.

If the cost isn't a problem and if you only need a good dry vac, The Metro Vac-N-Blo is extremely powerful and quite compact. I do have one of these and love it. It is not a wet vac! It is for dry use only.

^ I have used the vac that CharlesW linked to and it is absolutely perfect for detailing. I will be buying one soon as it fits my needs perfectly.

I have the Craftsman wall vac and love it . One of the reasons I bought it over the others was the longer hose (18 foot) I can do the entire vehicle without moving the vac. Another plus was the size , its pretty compact making it easy to fit most anywhere in my truck.
 
Hmmm I was @ Home Depot and the Rigid 5 Hp 4 Gal is great! That things is compact, and powerful. You can get an adapter and use the micro kit which is the most useful part of accessories. 90 or so bucks, but shoot its worth it in my opinion because it has a lifetime warranty and its strong as heck!
 
The main reason I want this vac is so I can actually shampoo and clean the carpets, mats and seats and be able to suck all the water and wetness out of it. I'm taking a guess that both the Ridgid and Craftsman do very well at sucking up water, hence everyone using them, so maybe i'll just dish out a little more money and get something that would be a little better.
 
I have this ( http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=205046-20097-9301711 ) except it has a blower, but it's too big for me and will be selling it soon. Then moving on to this one listed here! Used this one and it worked get!

I just wanted to let ya'll know that Home Depot has the wall mount Pro version of the Ridgid product linked earlier, the SG4000, for $79 instead of the regular $89. The same model without the wall mount & other attachments is still $69. For the $10 difference, I went ahead & got the wall mount version, which does have a blower option, I think you have to take the sound muffler off to convert to a blower.
 
WOW....that Rigid model looks NIICE! It looks even smaller and more compact than the Craftsman Wall-Mount model I invested in. I like the wall-mount model, also. It's small and fairly compact. I also invested in the micro kit.

My only problem is that it seems like I don't get a whole lot of suction out of that vac. Maybe I'm crazy.
