This wheel cleaner was sent to me from Shiney`s at no cost to me.
Note: Our wheels never get crazy brake dust, even after not being washed for 2 months or heavy towing (11,000+ lbs). The brake pads and rotors on my Silverado 2500 and Tahoe just don`t dust much.
I used the foam gun and Shiney`s Bull Shine Wash and Wax soap as previously reviewed for a prewash.
This cleaner is to be used on the tires and wheels. I didn`t experience any staining or color changing from Iron. To confirm the absence of iron on the wheels I sprayed the driver front with Iron-x while I worked the other three with this cleaner. Iron-X didnt produce any measurable color change...
The smell isnt outputting or strong but it works good. These wheels haven`t had their barrels cleaned in roughly 3000 miles and they now look new. It removes browning off the tires for a clean slate for a tire shine product.
Overall; I`m very happy. Great cleaning ability, doesnt have a strong smell, its a dual purpose cleaner for tires and wheels and lastly its safe for all wheel types.
I used between 1/4 and 1/3 of the 16oz bottle.
