Shelf Life for SSR2?

I bought some SSR 2 a few years back and haven't used it for some time. I have been using SSR 2.5 instead with great results. I noticed when I opened the SSR2 it did not have a pleasent fragance like your other products. The best way I can descibe the smell is like fresh dirt?

Do you think it is still okay to use? I was thinking of just ordering a fresh one on my next order.

it's hard to say as there are too many variable as to optimum storage...but it should be good for at least a few years ... don't judge its freshness after a few years by scent... the scents are water based and will breakdown after a while.. how long? I can't really say, but give it a good shake..a couple minutes, and look for consistency ... if it's smooth with the minor grit from the abrasives, then go ahead and use it..if it's lumpy or has not mixed well, then it's time to toss it...hope this helped

Thanks for the clarification. It still is smooth and I tested it on a small area and it seems okay.

Really enjoy your products. Just detailed a black Saab 9-3 with Polish w sealant and the results were fantastic.

PwS is one of my favorite products and about all I have time for with the kids assout: maintenence with S&W followed by QD+ gives me 6-9 months of great shine and durability :rockon
