Share You Experience: Factory Paint Defects

Hi all, I would like to hear about your experience on factory paint defects. I've seen many Japanese/Korean cars with tiny raised dots all over the factory paintwork. Could it be solvent boil/popping? Thanks.
 
could be solvent boil/popping (probably isnt), your problem is probably just dirt particles in the paint.(from the factory)

not enough paint.

orange peel.

not enough clear.

swirls.

these are all problems with factory paint.
 
These solvent popping (I assume is solvent popping) effects do not show up when the car is brand new. It tends to appear only after a few months, especially those which are parked outdoors. I need more clarification, thanks.
 
psl car wash, I'm afraid no. Have tried claying and rotary polishing up with M83 reduce the effect abit. The only way to remove all is by either light sanding followed up with rotary polishing with M85. The only problem is it might come back again.
