Share some of your best detailing tips. Not talking favorite products but tips (ex. woolite water mix for cleaning leather or bleach white to clean engine etc.). Stuff you can't go out and buy.

My tip is cutting a piece of cardboard to the size of my rim so when I spray on tire dressing it doesnt coat the wheels/rims.

Another tip is to spray the tire dressing into an old coffee mug then apply the dressing with a paint brush. Gotta admit, I got this tip from this BB.

Anxious to hear from y'all

Asonyexec - there are at least two threads on this subject, try a search (one that I remember was a month or two ago with almost the same title as yours)

This is a very good idea and something that would be cool if it was available as a detailing accessory. The invention that I am thinking of, would probably be made of a sturdy plastic type material and the outside diameter would need to be adjustable so that it could fit a variety of different size wheels.

Asonyexec, thanks for sharing a very useful tip.
