SG on Vinyl/Plastic

I have large sections of plastic/vinyl trim along the sides of my car (Subaru Forester). I have just finished detailing and used Megs Final Inspection on this trim.

I thought I might just put a quick layer of SG on there (WOWO) to provide some protection - any thoughts? I know this will provide a sealant glaze but should I get something on there that will "nourish" the vinyl first?

Things I have in my arsenal that might be OK... Klasse AIO & SG, Megs Step 2, Megs "Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant" (I found this today on the shelves but I think it has been discontinued), Sonus Acrylic Glanz...

The SG won't stick to anything that will "nourish" the vinyl (silicone). I have had good luck on trim in good condition with cleaning it well (with AIO? not sure) and going over it with SG, but wise men tell me that when the trim is older that won't work.

Its new trim (06 car) so I really just want to protect I guess - so just SG it? It is just textured plastic - not painted and grey in colour...

Yeah, you might want to try AIO on a small spot...just don't let it dry in the texture. If you're satisfied that it's clean, just use the SG--it worked great for me!
