SFX polish and PB polish

I am about to make purchase on SFX and PB polish or maybe Optimum



from what I read I figure in term of cutting (or correcting ability)

SSR2.5 is the strongest?

and then maybe Optimum Hyper Compound a little weaker?

where does Sonus SFX 1 stand between all three products?



then SFX2 is somewhat similar to SSR2 and Optimum Compound



I currently have VM and AIO so I guess I don't really need the finishing polish

or do I have to buy Optimum Polish or SSR1 or SFX3?

I have 3 cars...

2005 Acura TSX (pearl white little spider web) - SFX 2 white LC --> VM finish pad



2005 MB 320 (I don't think there's any scratches...it's weird my dad use rough cloths to wash his car) - do i use the same step as Acura or just go use VM with white pad then go straight to sealant



1999 Toyota Avalon (paint dull..small scratches) - SFX1 or SSR2.5 yellow pad --> SFX2 white LC --> AIO finish pad

or maybe

SSR2.5 yellow --> SFX1 white --> AIO finish



never used PC before and never intend to until I found 7336 display model :idea .......so any advise would help thx...:D
 
SFX 1 is a 1200 grit compound that when used with a strong pad will annihilate alot of things and won't be as hard to use as SSR 2.5 or 3 which can leave hazing.

I only use SSR on plastics.
 
I've used OP and SFX and found SFX to do a better job in correcting swirls and flaws. However the dusting is terrible. Next detail I'm going to use the SFX1 followed by the optimum. Hope this helps.
 
With PC and orange LC, I have found that SFX-1 gives a bit more correction than SSR2.5 in back to back comparisons. SFX-1 dusts A TON. Adding some RMG to the SFX-1 helped with the dusting some.
 
If you want something strong go for the Four Star Bodyshop Line. Their Heavy and Medium cuts are great. Optimum also makes great polishes.
 
thx alot......I guess I am leaning toward Optimum stuff and then I need Optimum compound and maybe Optimum polish...

so how's the correcting ability of Optimum polish?

Do I need it if I have both AIO and VM?
 
Dusting. Well sometimes it is but most of the time, especially once I move onto SFX 2 and 3, there is none at all. GOLD
