seperation issues again

purchased OP, OC and Hyper all at the same time about 2 months ago . have yet to use the new formulas. I know the products used to separate if it sits for a while. went to shake up all three bottles that have been sitting in my closet for about a month. after shaking the OP for a good 5 minutes it thickened up. tried shaking the OC and Hyper for 15 minutes each and they will not thicken up. turned the bottles upside down and left them sit for 20 minutes. went back and shook them each for another 10 minutes then gave up. the OC and Hyper are a heck of a lot thinner than the op is right now. anybody else have this issue? have to admit I like the results from using the product but if they are thin and watery even after shaking them up I am ready to just give up on the Optimum polishes. I remember these polishes being a lot thicker and yes these are the newest version. wouldn't you think the OC and Hyper should be thicker than the OP. very disappointed right now :sadwavey:

I think it's normal. I was surprised myself how much thinner the OHC is compared to the OP when I used them. And that was immediately after getting them from UPS.

Really ? the OC and Hyper seem like water compared to the op. so looks like your take is that is normal ? hmmmmm curious to see what others say as well. thanks for your input. I just find it weird that the polishes with more cut are thinner. the thing that gets me is that the OP was like the other 2 and after 5 minutes of serious shaking it thickened up quite a bit. the fact that the OP went back to normal and the other 2 did not change after shaking them as hard as I could for a long time, makes me think something is wrong with them.

Well I wouldn't say my OHC (don't have OC) is like water, but it's definitely thinner than the OP. I also thought that a compound would be thicker than a polish. I think I would say the OHC was kind of like toothpaste, where the OP is more like A&D ointment.

Although I would qualify that I ordered in the fall, so I have the new formula of OP, but the old formula of OHC. So that may be the reason for the difference.

I just got my Optimum compound from danase...and I checked it against my OP..now my polish is the older version...05 batch...and it is thick but uniform not curdeled...the compound was the consistency of ketchup not real watery but not real thick..and it is the new version with the gold label attached...
