Hey Bigleegr!
Thanks for your reply.
I haven't used SEPC or anything else before -- this was my first go. With my other cars, I used to either wand wash them or use dish soap to wash them, and take them to a detailer every once in a while.

I got this new car about a month ago, had it detailed, and then -- thank God and woohoo! -- found Autopia

.
Anyway, I didn't count the hours I spent on the car yesterday (wash, clay, wash, SEPC, & s100), but though they were many, they weren't "long" -- I was really enjoying myself! I finished when it was dark, and it's drizzling here today, so I'm impatiently waiting for a sunny day to gaze and gloat.

I'm planning on laying on another 2 coats of s100 (at least 24 hours apart).
As far as I could see, there were no swirls or scratches. The Mazda Titanium isn't the easiest paint to detect defects in, however (I'm not complaining!

). I hope my ministrations yesterday didn't introduce any. :scared
I decided to go just with the SEPC because the label says it sets the paint up for the s100 and I didn't want to #5 over it, in case it was counterproductive. Also, it seemed to me the car didn't need both, and that using both was unnecessary. But what do I know (answer: not very much! :LOLOL
Anyway, thanks again for answering my question.
