Semi truck interior

First time I ever did any detailing on a rig. Lots of leather in this truck. Went through alot of filthy terry towels full of grime and brown smoke. Used 8:1 Woolite and scrubbed everything a couple times before protecting with 303. Took me 7 hours to do and I got $150 out of the job.

Looks much better. :2thumbs: Now use that $150 and buy a decent steam cleaner so your next job will be so much easier.
 
No doubt. I need to check into a steam cleaner. I really know nothing about them. Do they really work that good? My shoulders are killing me.
 
Yeah they work very well for this purpose. With a little practice, you could of knocked out that interior in about a couple of hours or less with a lot less pain.
 
Would've probably got it alot more (deep) cleaning. More of a drastic change. I am going to do some research on them. Are they pretty simple to use etc.? Be nice to just steam leather's and vinyl instead of trying to scrub.
 
I think they are easy to use. I used one a few weeks ago to clean out a F350 interior and it worked like a charm in much less time than doing it by hand. Different steamers come with various attachments, just research them a little and decide which one will suit you the best. You can get a decent one for about $100.
 
Nice work! I know how you're feeling...I have to clean 3 dump trucks (paving) every weekend. Dust, dirt, asphalt pellets, empty soda bottles, empty cigarette packs and on and on!
 
They do asphalt too. I don't know if I want to get into that. I'd be trying to clay the dump truck to get all the asphalt off LOL.
