self correcting clear coat

I remember reading about Nissan going to use a clear coat that is self-healing and self correcting. Wonder how that clearcoat will respond to wax or LSP. Has anyone read about this new clear coat? I think Nissan is going to use it on the new EX35 crossover SUV.
