Seeking advice for Edge pads and rotary novice

I am considering trying out the rotary. I have used PC for years but wanting to step up to rotary for impoved results and quicker correction.

I like the Edge 2000 system due to it's perfect centering. With rotary I understand perfect centering really improves results.

What are your experiences with this pad system? Are the pads/adapter effective, durable and safe?

For rotary, would you recommend 6" or 8" pads?

Who has the best kit price on Edge system right now?

Any other comments?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

P.S. I have done a search and read other posts ... just wanted an update perspective.

No problems using the Edge 2K system with the rotary . I think you'll find the pads very durable and there's no issues with the new adapters . ( Watch the video on their web site) Personally I like the bigger pad on the rotary but if you have 6" pads for your PC don't hesitate to use them on your rotary. however if you don't have the Edge 2K system for that PC make the move and pickup one. You'll need two different adapters ( 1 for the PC & 1 for the rotary) you could get 6 " pads and use them for both machines and pickup some 8" pads late on . As far as colors go, blue and green will be your major workhorses, yellow if you have some bad swirling . Good luck :buffing:
