Seeing double, an Autogeek tale

On Dec 22nd I placed an order with Autogeek, utlizing the %20 discount, and paying with my gift certificates that I purchased at %25 off.....a %45 discount Tracking indicated that the package would arrive on Jan 04.



On Jan 04, I checked the tracking status of my package and it indicated that the package was damaged in transit. To my suprise, outside my door was my order, repackaged by UPS. Turns out some of my products had somehow leaked during transit. That same day I received notice from Autogeek that they had sent a replacement package.



That package arrived today.....check it out!



To some it up. I placed an order at 45% off and received nearlydouble my order! (notice that the degreaser is what leaked.

yes, at a 1:10 dilution to clean my interior. Topped with 303...worked well and looks good

Given that the 1st order was damaged and AG knew about it, they probably filed a damage claim and will be compensated by UPS.

yup, after i saw that new packages had been shipped and the original one showed up on my porch.



I'm guessing UPS is going to compensate AG.

A similar thing happened to me a couple or years ago. I ordered a gallon of PB S&W and unfortunately half of it leaked during shipping. I called AG and they promptly sent me a new gallon and let me keep the remaining S&W from the spilled gallon. I'm pretty sure they get compensation from UPS but the customer service and follow-up transaction was flawless.

yeah, that grey one was a little ugly, but Im still using some of that older stuff, works just fine.

My latest Autogeek package arrived on Monday. Part of my order were 6x nice Cobra MFs. Unfortunately, after I washed them, they started fraying. I notified Autogeek, they let me keep the 6x frayed MFs and send me 6x Cobra Jnr. (more expensive) to compensate.



Talk about great customer service!

wow nice order u got there. I have Meg apc and Meg super degreaser. You gotta watch out how you diluted the super degrease. That thing is very strong, I use to wash my driveway(remove oil stain).

awesome... and yea, the APC is good stuff indeed - I use the same interior combo every month or so



I also used 4:1 APC on the engine a couple of weeks ago and it worked very well too! However, be warned... don't use 4:1 on rubber floor mats. I think its a bit too strong... it took a lot of the sheen out of my black rubber mats (removed the factory dressing?) and left strage little "white" water-spot looking spots (I don't think the spots are permenant, though). Stick with 10:1 on rubber mats, I'd say.
