Sediment and Water Softener

Hey guys, ive lingered here for awhile. This is my first post though:D



Anyway....

Does the sediment filter and water softener kit from autogeek work well? Will it kill my water pressure? Anyone ever try running two of these kits for more filtering and softening ability? thanks :)
 
I use the double filtration set from AG and absolutely LOVE it. I use it with a foam gun - NO decrease in water pressure and at least 20-30% more suds from the foam gun. Although I generally was the car very very early on a Saturday morning before the sun really comes up, I can tell you that I get no water spots at all. This is a great system. I do however have a 2 hose set up so I can use the other (non-filtered) hose for general functions such as cleaning my supplies, watering the plants etc. I don't want to exhaust the filters on non-car functions. I also bought the recharging material although I haven't yet used it. Hope this helps
 
It does work...Think of it as something similar to one of those PUR filters for your sink. Works very similar to it.
 
Does this kit actually make the water softer or does it just filter the rust and the sand in the lines? Im very interested in the filter and need to know if it makes water soft?

I recently got the two stage kit from autogeek and it actually makes the water feel more slippery, i'm very happy with it.
