sealant recomendations..

Dan's Detailing
I want to try sealant from one of the vendors here and want to know which sealant is recommended for ease of use and longevity.

I currently use P&S sealant which works wonders and is competitive at $36 a gallon. Its easy to apply, easy to remove and lasts like nothing else I have seen. I am sure there are comparitive products form one of the vendors here.. can someone recommend one to try?

You know that I'm a fellow P&S user and for the most part and I like their line...I think that PB and his line of SWR, polishes, sealants, and waxes are better than P&S. They are sun friendly, can be used by hand or machine..(pc or rotary) easy on easy off. I've seen no bonding issues with any of them and are in a competitive price range....His EX-P is a pure sealant with a high shine-ability...when topped with a paste wax its my go to for white cars...I have an order on the way of it as we speak...Give it a try you won't be disappointed...lastly how durable is it?? I have to on a few regular customers cars and after a couple of months its still hanging in that I can see.

I say try EX or EX-P from Poorboys. BY FAR, one of the EASIEST products to use. I use in Triple digit temps, in full sun, and let it set from 30 minutes to an hour. When it comes off, it is like wiping a MF towel over glass...
I am stuck on these Sealants.
Pics of my Trailblazer with EX

Best look - EX
Best durability - EX-P
EX has carnauba in it.
EX-P does not give the same deep, wet
look as EX, but IS more reflective.

I hope I did not get them mixed up.....LOL

Thank you, I think based solely on your recomendation and that of Texas, I will try PB EX.

I will post my review of it in comparision to the P&S ultracoat sealant after I try it.

I had to get Eagle one "nanowax" for a job I did today, It is what the customer requested despite my efforts to sway him. Thank god its on an '04 silver Audi. It actually surprised me , that wax isn;t half bad for off the shelf product, however its not even close to the caliber of the products we all use.

Don't get me wrong I love Poorboy product. I have a shelf full of it, but I wasn't pleased with the EX. I used it on both my car (Black) and my wife's Tracker (Metallic). It had durability, but the look wasn't there. I gave Wolfgang a try and was blown away by the finish. SICK! Almost wasn't going to top with a wax. It didn't need it, but I went ahead and did anyway with Pinnacle LS and thought the paint was dripping off my car.
When I polish our cars again I'm not going to bother topping with a wax until I might need to hide some webbing. It's a little more expensive, but well worth it. I also might be a little more OC then some detailers.

Klasse, Werkstatt or Wolfgang.
First two can be sprayed on and wolfgang wipes off ultra easy and makes paint incredibly slick

I'll always wax though, only thing that gives depth

you name it ... i have it

my favs are blackfire (new formula) and FMJ.
I also like EXP and jeffs werkstatt although werkstatt is a little harder to work with than the other 3

Wolfgang and UPP are also good, though in my experience not as durable.
