Sealant and wax question.

I am looking for peoples opinions on UPP, EX and EX-P. What’s the difference? I will be using it under nattys blue. I want something durable. I have OCW but it’s not cheap here in oz so prefer to keep its use to a minimum (I detail friends and family’s cars). I use Optimum compound and polish and love nattys blue. Is OCW durable enough to use under nattys then leave it there, or should I use one of the above sealants and use OCW as a lsp? I am So confused. What is more the more durable wax out of OCW, nattys blue and tech wax or should I buy Collintite 845 or Klassy AIO?

I am so confused.

Thanks for your help.

Hey Gray :grinno:

Out of all the LSPs you've listed, Collinite #845 is the most durable in my experience. However, OCW is so easy to use you could just re-apply every wash and your paint would always have a good amount of protection on it.

One bottle of OCW should last at least 25 cars/applications, so even with 2 cars applied once a month, you'd be good for a year.

Just how much durability are you after?

OCW will go 8+ weeks on its own. Natty's Blue is good for 8+ weeks as well. Both together should go 3 months.

I guess the problem is you've got so many cards, you just have to pick one (or more) to play with because they're all excellent products in their own right.

Hehe thanks. thought I would get a better response from here as OCW is used by limited few in Aus. (only the smart ones :lol ) I havent had a chance to test its durability because I keep using it after every wash but want something for other peoples cars that don't get any treatment for months(like my mums).

UPP followed by natty's blue is a very nice combo. You get pretty good durability and some metallic flake pop from the UPP and the natty's blue gives the paint a nice deep wet look. I would buy some AIO to put underneith the combo just to give it a good base.
