Scratches in plastic. Repair?

Ok, my wife made a few scratches with her diamond ring on the plastic around door handle (inside). What are the options for repairing/minimizing them?
 
when i first read the title i thought you ment normal clear plastic. seeing how your talking about painted colour matched plastic, they have the same paint and clear coat as the rest of the vehicle. You wont be able to fit a PC obviously, so with a pad, and by hand you will have to polish the scratches in the clearcoat of the handle as best you can.
 
you can try to rub them down with the plastic end of a craftsman screwdriver

it will minimize them



or look in to replacing the peice

you might find one in a junkyard
