scratches and swirls

Please help!

I am thinking of purchasing PB's SSR line to remove light scratches and swirling. I have a dark green honda accord.

I will be using a rotary with light cutting and/or polishing Lake country pads. Which SSR should I go with, 1,2, or 3? and what wax should I follow up with.

If I used EX after the SSR's, would I need to top it with anything, or could that be used as the topper?

Any help is as always greatly appreciated
 
I would say the level of abrasiveness depends on several factors, including the severity of scratches, your comfortableness with using the polish, etc. On that, I'll say SSR2.5 is mild enouhg for newer paint, but still storng enough to get out a good many surface defects. I have used SSR3 a couple of times on some isolated body panels and it worked great, you just gotta make sure to follow up after it with another polish. If I had to pick, I'd say SSR2.5 & SSR1, but SSR3 would be nice to have. :)

EX is a sealant. You can top it, but you don't have to. It all depends on the look you want. EX has some carnauba in it, while EX-P is purely synthetic.

Would topping the ex with say, nattys give a more "wet" look. What would the look be on dark colors with ex and then ex plus nattys?
 
I can't really give you much in the way of looks with EX as I have not tried it. I have heard that EX is better looking for darker cars and EX-P for light colors and metallics. I can vouch for EX-P on light colors. :bigups I have used Natty's and I feel that it gives a sealant that "carnauba" glow. Also, Natty's seem to have dust repellent qualities.
