While drying my wheels on my Corvette C6, I accidentially picked up a small pebble in the towel, thus scratching the clearcoat on one of my wheels. About 2" long.
Obviously, this is upsetting.
Can any of you detailing experts, provide me with a good suggestion of how to remove a "light scratch" on the clearcoat?
I have a number of different product lines at home, including the Optimum Car Car Polishes / Compounds and Poor Boys SSR 1.
I am a little afraid to try an abrasive polish on the wheel, as I am afraid to "haze" the spot I am polishing.
For those who have worked with polishing clearcoated wheels, please offer some advice!
As always, thanks to all
