Is it safe to use Megs Scratch-X on a low speed with a PC? If it is, what's the best pad to use? I have cobweb-effect scratches, not swirls, and Scratch-X seems to shift them by hand but I want to speed things up and use the PC.
If you want to work on cobwebbing via PC, then break down and buy a bottle of something like Poorboy's SSR 2.5 or Meguiar's DACP. Scratch X is designed for use by hand I believe.
Megs say not to, as it may gum up the pads. A few people have had success with it. there is a thread on the US Meguiars forum about it which may help you. I havent tried it myself but was tempted to on a area with a 4 inch spot pad.
