Scratch X - Any good?

EZ Boy

No Woolpad Butchers Here!
What sort of result should I expect from Scratch X with a random orbital on a dark green metalic with light swirls. No deep scratches, look like washing origins.

What is the best method of application, what should I follow up with?

Thanks guys, look forward to your feedback.:)

I've used Scratch X by hand for spot fixes with great success. I've used it on minor scratches, not swirls. Very easy to use by hand. I used a terry applicator and buffed in, wiped off. It may take 2-3 times, but it does work well for me. It's pretty strong, so you may not want to use it for the full vehicle.

I'm no expert on the polisher use, but I would try something milder - SSR1 perhaps, for your swirls.

Scratch-X was primarily designed to be applied by hand...I read somewhere on Meguiar's Online, that Scratch-X, may gum up using a PC. I would use #82 Swirl Free Polish, #9 Swirl Remover or another light cutting polish to remove swirls. Just my 2.

Thanks for the posts, today's the big day - we'll give it our best and see what happens :)
