Scratch Correction with PC

Just wanted to show others that the PC is capable of repairing scratches if you are using 4" pads. This was on the driver side rear door of a black 2004 Toyota Sequoia.

Befores:

After wash/clay, removed scratch via PC and 4" pads:

SSR3, yellow pad, speed 5-6, X2

SSR2.5, orage pad, speed 5-6, X2

SSR2, green pad, speed 5, X2

Didn't completely eliminate the scratch, but decided to stop there to save clearcoat. Really only visibile at certain angle/light.

After scratch was removed, finished with VM and OCW.

Just wanted to share.

:2thumbs:

the PC seems to be capable of great things...for scratches like those i think it is also dependent on the hardness of the clear coat and the, um, "motivation" of the PC user. :)

nice job, and yes the pc is capable of taking care of bad defects as long as you have the right technique, pad selection and polishes/compounds...
