Scraped garage backing out

Some time in the past couple of weeks, I scraped the side of the garage door frame either pulling in or backing out. I have a small dent that can probably be taken care of through paintless dent removal, but I also have house paint (latex) that rubbed off of the wood garage frame onto my fender. I tried clay and 3M Perfect It II (by hand) and made little progress.

Does anyone have experience in cleaning paint off of a clearcoated car finish? I have a PC that I can use, but have not tried it yet. I wanted to get input prior to taking the machine to the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, no suggestions after almost 50 views.

I ultimately used my PC with wool pad and 3M Perfect It II to get most of the paint off. What was left came off with bug and tar remover.

Now to see if the Dent Dr can make it look like new again.

Sorry we didn't get to you sooner.

A little solvent/paint thinner would have been less aggressive. Almost always works.

Call the PDR guy.
