ScheerSpeed: Jet Black BMW 745LI revived!

This car had been repainted about 6 months ago, and the bodyshop did a horrible job finishing the paint. in addition the car had sat outside without being moved for two months so it got a fair share of abuse and contamination.

The owner told me to give it all i had and make it as perfect as possible so thats just exactly what i did!

the car took almost two weeks for me to finish. (i was working on it during finals so i couldnt work every day)

car looks great man! i have always been a great fan of the older 7 series BMW's.

What did the owner have to say?

What did you charge for that bad boy?

What a beautiful E38! Probably my favorite car of all time, can't beat it in perfectly polished black.

BTW, it's a 750il, not a 745li.

Nice job, but I am curious what was the tool you used for the floormats. Or at least where do you find an attachable brush head like that. Been looking for one for awhile!

should change the title to 750iL. 745Li are 02+ and are V8, 750iL was their top of the line V12 flagship. either way nice job. i just did a trashed white 740iL and a black trashed 745Li. kinda hate bimmers now.

Wow that is one excellent save! The before pics didn't look too bad.....from a distance. Up close was like getting @%!&^ slapped with all those defects!

I'm sure the owner was nothing but ecstatic when you were finished with her.

Gotta love the high rise reflection shots!
