so at this point, i am in complete astonishment of how bad of a paint job this car had!!! it looke like it barely got wetsanded and buffed after leaving the body shop!!! and i had yet to even put the light to it! honestly i was afraid of what i would see!

so i took a break and did the interior... my camera died after this pic... so i charged it while i did the rest, but forgot to take pictures after...

i finished that day at 1:15AM

i went back the next day to finish up the interior, do a FK# 425 wipe and black WOW. but i forgot my camera.

i hope you guys enjoyed seeing what a little elbow grease and some polish can do when it comes to restoring REFLECTIONS

It's amazing somebody so badly hacked such a beautiful car. Great job on the turnaround. Yeah...how many total hours did you put in it?

Great work!! I have run across a similar paint job before, the car looks ok in the sunlight but once inside a garage ---- BOOM -- it all comes out!!

PS -- dont let the Miami taxpayers get a hold of these pics!!! LOL

wow! did you wetsand this car at all?? Looks phenominal! I wish I could detail my cars in a fire dept....haha! Did they watch you go through the process?

WOW times 2! That's the worst re-paint I've even seen on a Bimmer. You did one heckuva job recovering that mess!

The dealer here wouldn't even bring a car like that in the shop....he'd be embarrassed to say that was in his inventory.

Congrats and I hope the effort paid handsomely for you.

Toto

Man that thing was hammered .I would never take anything to that body shop again.Great save !!!!!!!!!!!

Great recovery! Geez, I think Maaco does better paint work than that. It pains me to see other black BMWs in that condition.

What shop did the body work? Looks like you raised the gloss quite a bit, but there's some RIDS are still remaining? Try going with a twisted wool next time. PFW is kinda lite for those heavy corrections. Or somthing heavier like 3M Extra Cut.
