Scheduling Work Around The Weather

This is a question for those that detail as a business from a Brick and Mortar location. Do you try to schedule your details around inclimate weather ? I know that not too many customers are going to pick up their freshly detailed vehicles on a day when its pouring down rain. It seems that I am constantly trying to schedule my work so that the weather is dry on the day of the pick up of the vehicle. This creates some uncertainty along with some missed opportunities on certain days.

I have an indoor garage so I can actually work regardless of the weather outside. How do you guys handle scheduling and rescheduling when it comes to the weather ?

I'm mobile so its a little different for me. But when first getting in contact with a potential customer I just make sure to discuss the weather with them. Find out what they care about and make them a part of the decision making process. Generally I just mention that I work outside and I'm somewhat limited by the weather and in the event of rain, I will have to reschedule.

Just let them know up front so there aren't any surprises. A lot less likely to upset a customer if they know these concerns before hand

Unless you have a place to warehouse cars you are going to drive yourself out of business (and CRAZY) practicing the method you are currently following

Its not my job to keep up with the weather ...
