Sam's ProForce MF towels ?????

Can't tell a difference with mine. Bought a few packs about a month ago and they acted the same that they always have.

I just picked up a new batch last week, they're still fine. I will say that they have changed a bit over a period of several years; the ones I had from 6-7 years ago were a lot nicer than they've been in the last year or two.

Regardless, I still like them better than the yellow ones Costco sells.

Sams club loses quality over the years and Costco just got a lot better towel.

the proforce mf towels from sams club may be the only choice for right now, or at least in my neck of the woods (so.cal). i was at 2 costco's today and neither had any bulk microfiber towels in stock. i asked an employee thinking they may be somewhere else since they weren't where all the auto stuff or next to the bulk terry towels. he said they are discontinued but that doesn't mean they aren't going to be brought back in (the same or different brand) anytime soon, just not at the moment...

My Costco in Columbus OH has the 36 pack yellow towels in stock. I brought two packs and I really like them. They are the house brand Kirkland and they are called ultra plush microfiber towels.

A little off topic, but how much are the bulk microfiber towels at sans club? And how many? I have sam's club card but never go. If it's worth it I'll make the trip there lol.

Thanks Al. Sorry, I didn't realize SAMs club put prices online since a membership is required to shop there.

Are the proforce their best towels? I see they have "professional quality" and garage mate as well...

Did you guy happen to see that Sams sells a black microfiber? I went back one section from the posted link and looked through "towels". The black ones are not far down on the first page. 40 black microfiber towels or 35 bucks. It is a shipped only item though...

I usually get at least 3 packs at a time, runs a little under $40. Where else can you get 72 decent quality MF's for that amount of money? My only point about them, which is not a complaint because of the price, is they after about 5 washes they can become somewhat hydrophobic. Thats when I delegate them to interiors and such.

Great towels for the Garry Dean wash method. You can usually find a one day pass online and avoid the membership fee. Other than these towels, I see no reason to go to Sams. Costco>Sams.

I purchased a bulk amount from Costco a while back and they were a light yellow color. I just got another pack a couple weeks ago and they were darker yellow and seem more plush and better quality that before.

I totally agree that the Costco towels are even better now.

I should check out the MF from costco again... last time I checked, I wasn't impressed next to the ProForce ones. How many packs do you keep on hand/storage? I definitely don't need that many towels. But it's such a great deal and they won't go bad...

Also, I second that these are great for the gary dean method.

The thing about the costco towels is how fast they degrade after washing. The pro-force seem to hold up . IMO both are reasonable plush when new. After 5 washes the costco towels are very un-plush.

Mark buddy!

Betcha' didn't think you'd see ME here! :yo:

So you're saying you like the Sam's towels? I've got one really close here but never shop there because up where we used to live we had a Costco (which we liked better). That store now though has changed to a "business center" and unless you're in the restaurant business it pretty much sux!

I've heard they are different in some stores. (see below)

Willing to bet those were the Eurow 350's. I *love* those towels and they are <$16 for 36! (Considering Eurow sells them for $6~$8 more than Costco, that's a killer deal.) I'll wash them twice before using, with a little liquid detergent and Woolite. (Fancy HE washer that measures the load and hardly puts any water in.) As long as the paint isn't soft they even work for paint duty (which is on most all GM cars). Besides.... at that price even if I only use them once or twice on paint I get my money's worth. :)
