Sam's microfiber towels - falling apart - highly disappointed!

In another thread I mentioned buying these to use for GDWM.  I used them for the first time a few days ago and last night I washed them.  I washed them by themselves with just a little Purex (1/4 capfull).  I then put them in the dryer for 10 minutes and took them out damp to air dry.  When I took them out, I noticed that almost every corner had some stiff backing material popping out.  The corners on almost every towel were sorta folded down and stuck to the towel due to the stiffer material sticking to the microfiber.  The backing material is very rough and could easily scratch paint.

Two packs of these only cost me $30, but I would rather have 7 or 8 towels that can be washed and reused on paint. I'm going to return these and maybe try microfibertech's 600 gsm green/gray towels.

I have some Sam's towels that I use for interior, wheels etc and have not had that problem.

That being said, the Rag Company has some high quality towels at good prices and if you order on Fridays shippping is free     http://www.theragcompany.com/

Autoality.com also has some great towels at good prices and if your order is over $25 and under 5 lbs shipping is free   http://www.autoality.com/store/pc/Microfiber-Products-c16.htm

If you start shopping around for MF towels you'll notice allot of places sell the same towels with a different name and price.
