Sams Club 500watt inverter $27

I noticed the Sams Club by me had 500watt inverters for aroun $27. They also have a 1500watt for $101. The 500watt would be great to run a PC for mobile detailing. I use a 700watt for mine but the 500watt is nice since it will run off the interior outlet or clamped to the battery. My 700watt only clamps to the battery.

i was thinking of getting something like this. but i'm concerned that 500 watts is too much power to drain from the car battery.



have you used this successfully?

I use a 750 inverter and run it off the battery in my passat. It will run the PC well, but my vacuum doesn't like it so much, and neither does the rotary.
