I thought it'd be a sunny day, but December doesn't like to be nice at all. It was freezing, thus you see me holding my QD in my hands with my ski gloves on. Nevertheless, the sun wasn't playing with me either, but when it did, i saw the halogram on the car. This car is parked outside 24/7.

Only in calif will they call it cold and detail a car with gloves on  While the rest of the nation can't even work on a car outside.............:bawling:

Its all relative I guess.

the car looks dang good. Have you ever used p21s rather than s100? Any comparisons?

Cheers,

nice work! I take you're preparing for the big storm headed your way. I just left Sacramento last week, so I'm missing out on all the fresh snow. I coulda been snowboarding! :wall

I washed my car with onr last night in the garage...and used warm water...and it would freeze before I could even dry it off....stupid NJ winters. I don't know what I would do in MN!

For Cali, 30 is cold here. I think it was actually around 35 there. The weather was okay, but the water just killed me when I was washing the car.

~Greg - haha @ your comment. Only in California... At least the water didn't freeze up here when I was detailing... If I lived in Tahoe then it'd be a different story :). Oh, I haven't tried the P21 wax, but I know that the S100 Wheel Gel worked just as well as the P21. I would say they're interchangeable... especially if you just change the name on the bottle. For some reason I think they just relabel it P21 for high end detailers... ::shrugs::

~Poison - the storm is hitting right now. I walked outside and got bombarded with rain coming at like 30mph... It's the worst storm of the year so far, I'm kinda glad to see it. It came fairly late this year... maybe it's because of global warming??? But yeah, we're planning to go snowboarding next week. I saw the weather forecast and Tahoe is expected to get 6+ inches of snow just for today.

I'm 99% sure that s100 and p21 wheel gels are the same dang thing. I bought some p21 and will run a test and hopfully post the test. I can get the s100 for under 10$ 500ml, compared to 15/500ml.

I was down in so cal for the holidays and everywhere I went it as in the 40's for the lows and people were bundled up like it was going to snow!! So to see you with gloves and claying, cracked me up a bit.
