Saleen Mustang Heavy Paint Correction

This Mustang came to us because 3 other detailers were not able to get the deeper scratches out from the paint. Not to mention the heavy swirling. I quickly found out the only way to make this perfect was a Trizact 3000 damp sanding, followed by 4 stage machine polish. I used PG and a purple wool followed by orange CCS pad and SIP followed by white ccs and Super Finish, then finished with red CCS and Ultrafina. Cleaned paint with Lime Prime Lite, and topped with one coat of Supernatural.

After 3 other detailers couldn't correct it and put swirls in it I would have wondered if any clear was left on the car. Great work!

Thats how its done!! John I know you had fun with this one. All that sanding:chuckle: Sometimes it takes 4 detailers to find perfection. Shame they couldn't find Metropolitian Detail Sooner! Stunning results:xyxthumbs

Thanks, I took plenty of paint measurements before and during wetsanding, and no issues arose.

Thanks Barry, I always get stuck doing the heavy sanding jobs. They sure are rewarding, but the process is not exactly what I call fun. ;)

wow, awesome work !

I'm sure the owner was stunned with the results for sure..They probably don't wanna touch it now, or either do you probably.. haha

WELL DONE!!!!!!! I heard those Trizact pads are like $15 each and you have to buy them in bulk sets.

alas you are right, online the pricing is better as my local PBE store hammered a brotha when I needed some asap. John the car looks fantastic btw(put some bigger pics up please) want to see more of the correction.
