Sale events in the toilet ?

I have noticed over what seems to be the last few months the 15% sales have dwindled off and the specialized/certain product line sales appear to be the norm. I use a lot of different products so a sale on BlackFire, Sonus or what ever does not interest me and I pass them by. Now 15% off everything except the usual buffers etc. always gets my attention. Anyone else notice this or care ?.

Yea dave the X% off normally come at some holiday. I bet they do a 4th of july sale with X% off.

But the other sales recently have been mainly on their house brands or new stuff coming in.

Make sure to check the Vega deals every day because Ray will put some ridiculous specials on there.

I just wish he`d reset connect deals. ;)

Yep, more of a holiday thing.

i second the notion about the connect deals. They have seemingly become less "exciting" and more "let`s clear this product out" type of deals. Something tells me they are losing a ton of money on the connect memberships
 
Yep, the Connect somehow must have been a bad idea. It was a bad idea for me too. I have spent way more money since I bought the Connect subscription than I should have. But they offered it, they need to support it until our year is up. Just to be fair.
 
I kind of think the connect put a squash on sales because of the long term losses. When people were signing up the cash flow coming in was great. Then the extra 10% off and shipping charges started to mount and somethings cannot be air freight so another shipping charge for ground happened on the same order. Before Megan (spelling correct I hope) left I could not keep up with the sales. Now there are not many that catch my eye.

I think everyone is right about the Connect Membership. I think it will be fixed when it relaunches again.
 
I`m waiting on the Gift Card sale from AG. I buy all my stuff on AG, simply because they sell GCs at like a 25% discount at times. (I spend 75, they give me 100 credit).

If Autopia matched or did the same deal (Their terms say they don`t match Gift Certs), then I would probably convert to Autopia exclusively, but as for now, I`m AG, simply due to the GCs.

I got into detailing from AG, but found Autopia after, but I had already bought my GCs back from August. I`ve dropped close to 1k in GCs on AG.

That guy says that Autopia price matched AGs GC sale.

I`ve so far used up all my AG GCs, and if Autopia has one, I`ll just say that I`m looking to convert over.lol

yea whens the gc sale for fathers day... this is on my wish list along with a nano... the nano wont happen but if you dont ask youll never know.

Son of a u know what. Placed my order earlier yesterday. Then the sale hit the Web page like an hour or two later. Lol

Oh well, actually not disappointed bc the blackfire pad cleaner was much needed (free gift before reset)

They cant discount Rupes products ever to my knowledge ( unless open box)

But you can buy gc when they`re on sale and that essentially gets you a discount if you use gc on rupes purchase.

I saved my bonus points for a rainy day and bought 4 or $500 gift cards back on that last sale.. of course naturally I ended up spending most of the gift cards but I did save 1 or 2 to use on the Nano and ended up having the equivalent of $125 off based on my connect bonus points

while I may have a spending problem, half of it has to do with the fact that you can get some ridiculous deals thanks to Ray, Paul and Company.
