i have been using fmj and hgas or z8 as a qd. i saw some pics of cars done with s100..good lord what a shine!! can it go over the fmj? will it improve the shine? thanks

dont buy s100, its garbage. I dont know how some people make it look good. But i used it on an 2002 acura tl. It has NO slickness. None. It didnt even add that much depth or shine. This was after menzerna intensive polish and vanilla moose. The s100 did nothing for the car.

S100 is a very nice product. Not sure if it would improve the shine of FMJ, I know it would not improve upon AJ.

Overrated for sure. Dont mean to bash it but it just didn't work for me. I have used it on a few metallic cars and the pop was eh, nothing great. Most of the shine is in the prep, remember(like 90%). Dont expect to be impressed. Slickness is bad as well

Garbage? Are you nuts?

S100 is one of the best waxes out there, hands down. It's not the most durable wax out there, but it's a carnuaba, so it's not meant to be. Will it improve on FMJ? Well, that depends. It's not the same type of product as FMJ. It depends on what you're looking for in a wax.

All I know, is it works for me:

I won't deny that there are more durable waxes than S100 but there aren't any that are any easier to use. It goes on and off so easily it only takes a few minutes to reapply. IMO it looks great for 3-4 weeks, does not stain trim, is very economical and available locally at Harley dealerships.

S100 is slicker than Souveran and Klasse, not very durable, very easy to use, really works nice on silver, better applied with companion S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser when used with dark colors, and is even better when applied using the spit shine method.

Look at Scottwax's Acura TL pic and his other S100 pics under the Most Popular Pics section of the gallery. What better argument for S100 is there?

Scott could make Turtle Wax look impressive...........I have about 3/4 of a jar of S100..........just sitting there. It never gets used, and would be better off used as a paper weight.

Patrick,

Feel free to send it to me. That and Natty Blue are the only two LSP's I use.

Well, I do hit up NXT paste every once in a while, but it's mainly the other two...

I was using S100 on my silver and white cars, but just recently switched to Natty's Blue. Natty's is the better of the two IMO. Durability of the Natty's seems MUCH better.

My silver Tundra never has had so much pop and depth!!

My white A4 is just..well, shiny!!

Ehh? :nixweiss Are you sure you used S100, or did someone slip a lump of candle wax into your container?

I am sure about that. What are you guys talking about when u say slickness is unmatched.

Dupont teflon wax is slicker than this stuff. Plus it looks better. I havent used natty's blue but i have heard alot of good things about it. I would try that instead of s100. And like bigpoppa3346 said, its all about the prep work.
