S100 question

I just bought gold class liquid wax last month because I almost ran out of my #26 liquid wax....I have used the gold class about 3 times now and I'm pretty satisfied witht the shine......and now I heard good things about S100 wax.....my question is, how much better is the S100 compared to gold class or #26?? In terms of gloss/shine ONLY please....I don't care about the ease of use or durability.....since I think gold class is easy enough to use...and I wax the car like 2 or 3 times a month, so durability is not a concern......

If the S100 make noticeable difference in SHINE or GLOSS compared to the GC then I will definitely try it...and btw the car is light colored (beige metallic)

I haven't really done a side-by-side comparo, but i think that S100 makes the car look shinier and deeper. Even though i didn't prep the car properly, I could see more reflections compared to GC.

compared to Hi-Tech and GC

the S100 brings out a noticeable deep gloss.

It has a hell lot more depth.. its not just shiny...

it also makes cars a lil darker and rich.

like my friend's spectra blue celica was bright blue with GC or Hi-Tech and after trying S100 it went a shade darker. Same with my black accord and my friend's green 240sx

I've used both P21S and #26 and I would say without hesitation that P21S is glossier & has more depth. #26 is a great wax, but with P21S, we're talking about a whole new level of shine.

Also, after you try P21S, you might change your mind about the importance of ease of use. I myself am already spoiled. :xyxthumbs

I agree, when it comes to looks, the P21S/S100 wax is about as good as it gets! :xyxthumbs

Try it, you'll love it!

You know whats really nice about S100. Wax On Wax Off its that easy! I was very pleased with the results. Just got off the phone with my wife though and see told me my wax job just got rained on pretty heavy though. I don't care sounds like a good excuse to wash and wax again. I would recommend you pick up a bottle of the meguiars polish I really thought it helped the shine and depth.

P21S/S100 is definitely more shiny than Megs #26!!!

We just detailed a Volvo s40 & a Toyota Land Cruiser -- the #26 looked very good on the Volvo - you could notice a decent difference after waxing.

But on the Land Cruiser -- WOW!! It looked like it was dipped in water!! it was simply gleaming!!

Both had the same paint prep -- clay, klasse twins

Unfortunately, it was after dark and the garage lighting was terrible for photography so my pics of the Land Cruiser don't do it justice.

P21S for me!!!! :bow :bow

I'm another S100 believer!!! :bow I love this stuff. I spent a couple of hours waxing yesterday but today, mother nature turned against me. :( Well, a carwash is planned for tomorrow.

Yup! As per my sig, I'm alternating the two in some wierd attempt to layer the S100. It was S100's turn tonight, and when applied next to #26 that was less than 1 week old there was a definite, if subtle, increase in glossiness.

And BOY does it go on/off easier than #26!

:bow S100

I didn't know what all the hype was about S100 until I tried it last weekend. Washed, #7, #26, then topped with S100. As many others have stated, it goes on and comes off very easy as long as it doesn't have a chance to haze. Result? At first the difference wasn't immediately apparent. But several hours later the heightened mirror-like reflectivity just knocked my socks off. Wow, wow, WOW!!! S100 is truly amazing and I'm really thankful to have stumbled across this secret here. :bow
