S100 over Blitz on red

This has probably been done before and will probably be nothing new for most of you, but tried this today and thought I would share my experience anyway :)

Put on some Blitz over the Accord a few days ago and Qs'ed. The look was amazing. Blitz realy made the colour come out (is that the term 'pop'?). Very warm, reflective and shiny.

Put some S100 over the blitz to see what happened (I couldnt imagine it getting any better).

Using the nearside rear quarter panel, I applied S100 to half the panel and compared the Blitz + S100 and Blitz alone.

Amazingly I could easily tell the difference! The half with the S100 looked darker and had a bit more depth. Gloss/wetness was also much better.

Afterward I used a light spritzing of QS and things couldnt get any better :bow

The problem is that I use Super Resin before Blitz and S100 which acts as my 'AIO'-style polymer sealant. If I put on Glaze before that it will be cleaned away by the Super Resin. I'm not sure if it would work if applied after a sealant :nixweiss

Nick,

Ok, you've convinced me. I've just ordered the S100 from motex.

Now I'll be doing:

Omega glaze, blitz and then s100.

Cheer's,

Ryan

Ive posted before i like the colour that blitz give my car, and the gloss p21s give hence i always use both!

Still ahvent tried quikshine ywt with 2 gallons of FI and a gallon of EF clear pearl i may wait a while!

Nick, you could try using the glaze after the resin. The only downside with a glaze is that it does not last to long. Perfect for a show or special occasion.

I do have a theory that Blitz might reduce some of the protection given by Resin or Gloss.

When I can afford to get some of the glaze (OG or Megs?) I will do, cheers guys :up

Rich - you say that glaze strips the S/R, but then you say that you put it on top of S/R. Surely this is a contradiction :nixweiss ;) :p

Mines currently the same as yours blitz and s100 over s/r and eg, planning to go purley glaze and wax though this wekend ready for a big show next sunday.

Just got my new tub of Blitz today! (along with a new tub of Collinite). Going to use DACP followed by #3 Machine Glaze, two coats of Blitz and two coats of P21s! Will post pics! :D
