I know many of you chuck this thing once you open a new can of s100, but I like to use it. For those of you that use the prepackaged applicator (and I know this may sound stupid), but do you leave the applicator in the can when you're done, or do you take it out, wash it, and leave it outside the can?

I always use the included S100 applicator. I always store it in the can when finished. I have yet to wash it - I've probably done 20 or so applications with it so far. I inspect it before I use it but haven't seen the need to wash it yet. BTW, I just topped Meguiars #7 with S100 on my black Mustang today - I will get some pics if the sun ever comes out. What a good looking combo!

I love the little gray app. Fits my fingers perfect and is not as big and clunky as a Megs app. I just store in the S100 can with no probs.
:doh Ok, so there was no need for me to wash it then.
On a side note, when I did wash that little gray app., I noticed that by squeezing it out came globs of s100 that were not only not soluble in the water, but even some dish detergant couldn't break them down! I had to use some citrus degreaser a couple of times before I got it clean. Imagine how it acts on the car!
But next time I'm leaving it in the jar.
I believe ya. It's an awesome looking combo, leaves the paint very wet looking!
