S&W + Z2=Streaks?

I use S&W nonstop and have never had a single problem with streaks (hot, cold, slightly dirty, dusty, etc...). Today, I went back over a car that received Z2 last week. This was my first time using Zaino--I had finally gotten too curious to avoid it any longer. Problem is, S&W streaked something fierce! I followed up with Z6 and it cleaned up nicely, but what is the dilly with S&W plus Z2. Did I experience a fluke?

Thanks.

That surprises me? Are you sure the paint surface wasn't extremely hot when you did the S & W, and then cooled down when you tried the Z6?

How long was the Z on the car before you used the S&W. As Boss said to the temp of the car could also be the problem.

Unfortunately not (I would have liked such a factor). The car had been garaged for the past two days.

*edit* Beemer, you're too quick. Z2 w/ Zfx was applied exactly a week prior.

That's a good question then I have only used Zaino a few time and was not impressed with it. I'm now wondering if the S&W was reactting to the chemical in the Z products. They seem to have a bit more silicon in them and thinking the S&W searmed the silicon around. But this is jsut all a guess

Well, I have some Z2 and Z5, but I've never had the chance to try them with S & W. I suppose there could be some kind of adverse reaction between them? :dunno

The only times I've seen S & W streak, are on extremely hot paint, or when the S & W is applied extremely heavy.

I'll try it again next time I'm over here (it was Pop's car). If it doesn't work on the second trial, I'll have to experiment with some QEW dilutions in a spray bottle.
