S&W vs. S&G

Do I need both? I am going to pick up a gallon of S&G and was wondering if S&W is really necessary?

Spray and Wipe is for cleaning...Spray & Gloss is for gloss enhancement and slickness ....if you are only using the Spray & Gloss for after car washes and light dust...no you don't need both...

I have both and wouldn't consider being without either. The S&W is for removing light soil off of any surface of the car. I use it routinely between full washes. I often follow with S&G to boost the gloss. I have also used S&G after dusting with a Cali duster. I use S&G to dry after a full wash and to remove the haze of sealents and carnubas. The two products work very well in tandem together to do a light clean and enhance gloss. To me, they functon as the two "halves" of a QD. Having them as separate products allows more versatilty from each one IMO
 
Yep, you need them both...in Gallon sizes at that! You'll be hooked so you may as well fork it over now. See above posts!

I just got some S&G, I haven't had the oppertunity to try it yet and i want to get some S&W to try especially because i have to drive to my in-laws house to wash my car. i live in a condo and the assoc. says you can't wash your cars their. Ain't that some BS! so my question is how much dirt is to much dirt for the S&W? I wash my car every weekend so it doesn't get to dirty.
 
consider about 4-5 days of dry weather driving good enough. avopid using it after driving in the rain. too much dirt gets piled on trhe rear end and side panels. after a rain to remove water spots if fine tho.

when u buy the spray and gloss, use it everywhere. windows, plastics, everywhere. my main use for it is to spray mists over the car while tis wet and then dry. keeps the towel from dragging and adds the shine without having to do double steps. i also use it on my wheels after being selaed. a quick mist over the wheels and then following them with a dingy mf/terry towel keeps them slick and crisp.

u can also use it on all interior wood trim.

man ima order another gallon.

are you refering to the S&G or the S&W? I'm looking to get the S&W that what my question was about.
 
S+G doesn't have as much cleaning ability as S+W, but can be mixed together to get some of each in one bottle. I used S+W for dust or after a rain and the dust has "hardened" onto the finish (More than most qd's are up to). The main thing I've noticed is that you need to know the limits of your towel. The more plush/absorbent, the "safer" you'll be, IMO. If you've got mud caked up the sides of your car, then I think that would be too much to S+W. (Could be done, but likely not the best way).

What do you find to be the limitations of S&W? I wash my car once a week and it doesn't get really dirty, but I can't wash my car in the development I live in so I have to drive to an in-laws house to do my car. I'm kinda lookin for this to be a replacement for a hose and bucket. Like I said my car doesn't get really filthy.

Caked on dirt that's really heavy and would need water pressure. Otherwise it's very versatile if you use it correctly. After rain storms it rocks!
