#s regarding CHEMICAL GUYS CITRUS WASH AND GLOSS HYPER CONCENTRATED CAR WASH

Hi Guys,

I am thinking switching the car wash shampoo to CG Citrus Wash and Gloss Hyper Concentrated car wash.  In the past, I was using Meguiar's and Turtle Wax car shampoo and they were okay for regular car washes.  Now, my car soap are all used and it is time to refill, I want to try something different.

Before I buy it, is anyone here using this car shampoo?  Are they good?  Will the soap (suds) easily remove the sealant on the paint (<u>IF</u> I accidentally poured more than 1 cap of concentrate with 5 gallons of water , such as 1.5 cap for instance)?

I just want to use this product as a regular maintenance car wash, will it be okay?  I read some threads regarding the people like to use this product as stripping old wax or sealant on the car.

Please advise, thanks.

I believe this is basically the same car wash as the one I use (CG Citrus Clear), except yours has added gloss enhancers.  I know the Clear will not strip your wax if used at the maintenance wash ratio of one ounce of shampoo to four gallons of water.  The wax stripping ratio is much higher of course and it is recommended at a ratio of 2 ounces per gallon and will indeed strip wax (it does not, however, completely strip sealants - at least not Duragloss 105).

Wash & Gloss and Wash & clear are both great washes, I'd recommend picking them both up and they are certainly a good deal especially at the dilution ratios

In comparison to your current washes you will simply be blown away

wash and gloss is amazing. I use in a gilmour foam gun with boars hair brush for 90% of my washes. so suds and the gloss additives are really noticeable.

For a maintenance wash, you could look into Mr. Pink as it has high foaming capabilities if you absolutely want to stick with CG. There are way too many options out there to say which is best. I personally preffer the Zymol soap over pretty much everything I've tried, although the Sonax is very close behind it. Citrus wash and gloss can strip waxes and sealants depending on the concentration used, but personally, if a soap CAN strip waxes, I would rather not use it as a maintenance wash even at a safe dilution ratio, unless the car has heavy built-up dirt that simply won't go with a "regular" maintenance soap.

Whats the difference between Mr Pink and CWS 101 besides the price .. both have to be used at a higher concentration than the others ... Mr Pink costs more.
