S on Z?

Okay... question. So what if I topped the Zaino on my dark red Volvo (2x Z1, 3x Z2) with Souveran. I know this takes away the layering property of Zaino, but will it work? Who has done it with good results?



The reason I ask is I love the shine Zaino produces, but the depth and glow Souveran makes on dark colors like mine.

A while ago someone posted the result of topping Z with a wax...I forget who or when:nixweiss



They posted athread in this section .... there was many different opinions in that thread.
 
I've been playing with S100 on top of Z; looks great. The S100 has added some depth at the expense of clarity (which is what I expected, and was aiming for). The WRX's silver metallic is a little less brilliant with the S100, but the flake is so coarse to start with that I like that fact that it's toned down a touch. I'm just experimenting . . . I'll probably go back to straight Z this fall in prep for winter, but in the meantime I'm letting my inner-mad-scientist have fun.



Gonna try Platinum sometime soon, too . . .
