Why should that be surprising? You drive your car for a lot longer than that, accelerating, stop and go, etc.

I had a RX7 (1979) when first introduced. Great little engine and very peppy. Very durable engine with fewer moving parts then conventional engines. :xyxthumbs

If only they could improve the gas consumption of such a tiny engine.
