Rupes 3" backing plate on xp7424

It's been said to use the same backing plate and pad mfg. with that thought in mind I modified a Rupes 3" bp to be used on my PC. The items required are a 5/16-24 x 5/8 screw instead of the 8mm provided. And four 5/16 washers to make the backing plate flush to mount to the arbor. The 3" bp doesn't have center hole venting like their 5" bp which is where this mod might make more sense, but I only run my PC with 3" pads. The Rupes 3" plate is a quality plate but the vibration is still more than if you were to purchase a Rupes mini.

I have a ?Meguiar's?...I forget but I think that's it...3" plate that I use on my PC and GG.  Very good for spot-correction when I'm not using my little pneumatic instead.
