Rotary-To-DA pad adapter

Hi,



I have a 3.75-inch rotary backing plate. Instead of buying a new backing plate for the PC, can I use a DA adapter so that I can reuse my existing backing plate?



Any thoughts? Would I be better off with a dedicated DA-only backing plate?



In my guesstimate, the DA adapter combined with the rotary backing plate will add about an inch to the gap between the base of the PC to the velcro of the backing plate.

I don't see any problem with using the adaptor. The added weight shouldn't matter, especially with the small backing plate.

I use that exact same setup for my spot pads..... You will have no problems! :up
