bigron62,

Congrats again on the nups !!! Hope you had a great honeymoon.

That black limo well represented every single limo here on the East Coast. I had a gig handwashing a couple of black Lincoln Limos (pigs) last year, and I was appalled that I was even being paid to wash such abused vehicles.

Don't miss that gig.

Hey Ron you were in my back yard...hope that you guys had a good time...send me the limo company name I'll take that one on....SWR removal...$1K....LOL

That looks like Merryvale winery or Gray Stone Culinary Academy in the back ground

I used to take care of some cars for these guys who were all hot shot executives and they had a company limo that just sat there all swirled up while I shined up their cars.:hmmm:

I would offer to do it and they would say "nah we pay the driver to take care of it." They were a pain in the arse so I didn't bother with it and I eventually cut them loose because they didn't value what I did for them. I think they just liked the idea of having another servant around.:bow

Anyways, it is typical around here as well that most of the limos are all swirled up. I guess it also shows that the good detailers in town aren't very good salesmen. A limo company should be a good source of revenue for a good detailer.

I have spoke to a few local limo companies and they said that, if you have a good business that there is little down time for a limo...they fill the day and evenings (there busy time) non-stop, then after each party if you will they have to clean-up the car and get ready for the next one...Most here pay the driver to take care of the car and that entails going to cheap car washes and such...if they are running the business right they don't have 5 to 8 hours for detailing...getting the cars serviced is hard enough...this is all from what I have learned from the local guys here

Looks like a lot of black paint to clean. Just like my Daddys black truck.

At least it on ly has four wheels. Since I would be the one cleaning them. I DO WHEELS

Thats bad on occasion we clean up stuff like that the boss makes a killing on swm removal.

ill do stuff like that but i would charge alot ...limo company can afford it :bigups...also im about ready to start detailing again ...

I have a friend with a small limo business. Maintenance is almost non-existant. It is a time issue. He runs his cars about 4-5 years and sells them. The only time they see a coat of wax is when they are sold.

The drivers run them through a car wash, quick vacuum and off to the next job.

Never buy a used limo.
